Healing Foods
Nutrition is key to recovery from ADHD and autism. Certain fruits, leafy green vegetables, herbs, wild foods, and vegetables, in particular, are especially beneficial for:
- removing toxic heavy metals and other toxins;

Keep in mind that children typically don't have an appetite for the entire amount yielded by the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie recipe. To determine the appropriate amount for your child, consider a glass of apple juice – how much does your child usually drink? 250 ml? 300 or 400 ml? Whatever amount you choose, that's the right amount of the smoothie to give your child. You can either scale down the recipe accordingly – for example, reduce it by half or two-thirds (making sure the five core ingredients are maintained, if possible, in proportional quantities) – or prepare the full recipe and drink the remainder that your child doesn't want. Or you can give your child the ingredients separately within 24 hours.
Healing Herbs and Supplements
