Strong feeling of the soul
According to the Medium Healer, one of the main reasons depression is such a difficult experience for so many people is the involvement of the soul itself in this process. The area where external pollution or exposure falls – inside the brain – is precisely the space where the soul is located. People who experience depression are not soulless. On the contrary, during this period of their lives they find themselves in a deeper connection with their soul than many who do not go through such a state. They become highly sensitive to its presence. This is a manifestation of strength, not weakness. Depression is a reaction of the soul that feels that something has disturbed the internal order.
In long-term depression, the soul recognizes the presence of a foreign substance, an invader, or an external influence inhabiting the place where it resides. This turns depression into a form of misunderstood enlightenment—a signal that something has happened in the body that does not belong there. It is not the person’s fault that this “something” has ended up in their body. The soul reacts by reporting an external intruder.
The soul of a person experiencing depression sends clear messages that there is a problem that requires a process of cleansing and restoration. It sends signals and warning signs to the conscious and subconscious mind. Since people are not taught to recognize and interpret these inner messages, it becomes difficult to understand what exactly is wrong.
Traumatic loss or stress and adrenal stress
After experiencing a strong adrenaline rush caused by emotional conflict, trauma, or shock, the soul becomes hypersensitive to any subsequent adrenaline release. This is true even when the adrenaline is of the “fight or flight” type, artificially induced by daily caffeine use. The brain automatically associates even the slightest adrenaline rush with past trauma. You can learn more about the harmful effects of caffeine in the articles “The Truth About Caffeine” and “Why Caffeine Is a Problem Food” .
After the initial loss or difficult moment, a person must continue to deal with the normal ups and downs of life. This means that the “fight or flight” response continues to be activated – sometimes by stressful situations, sometimes by caffeine. The soul associates these new adrenaline rushes with past traumatic peaks, even if the person is no longer thinking about the original event. The reason is that the soul is in close contact with the subconscious and responds to invisible processes in the body.
This is an expression of the soul's sensitivity – a power that shows that it recognizes two possibilities:
• sadness resulting from overworked adrenal glands (See more in the article “Adrenal Gland Problems” );
• or overloading brain cells with adrenaline, making it difficult for the brain to recover from the repeated surges.
If severe depression begins immediately after an emotional blow and persists for a long time, this indicates that there is an additional, deeper source behind the depression. The emotional trauma may have triggered one of the other groups of factors, or occurred in parallel with them, thus allowing the depression to deepen and persist.
Presence of pathogens
According to the Medium Healer, a significant and often unrecognized cause of depression is the presence of pathogens in the body. When viruses enter the body, they produce toxic waste products. These neurotoxins can reach the brain and cause inflammation in the brain and nerve tissue. The soul registers this inflammation and reacts sensitively because it senses that there is something foreign in the space it inhabits. You will learn more about viruses and their waste products from the article “Pests That Make Us Sick – Viruses and Viral Waste” .
There is another mechanism explaining why pathogens can cause depression: when a virus is transmitted from person to person, it carries information with it. The pathogen may have passed through generations of people, through different life circumstances and emotional experiences – before reaching its current host.
In this way, the virus accumulates a kind of emotional imprint. It records the energetic state of the people it has passed through – especially moments when their adrenal glands were activated in a state of stress. If any of these people have suffered from depression, the virus may carry traces of that energy.
Therefore, when a virus enters a new organism, it can emit a specific frequency – a frequency that carries memories of past struggles, losses, and emotional states of other people. Some souls are extremely sensitive and can sense this. They respond to the presence of the pathogen and its energetic imprint – sometimes information that can be traced back decades, even as far as 80–100 years.
Not every soul registers these signals. But in many people suffering from depression, this sensitivity is activated. The soul senses the vibration of the pathogen, detects the energetic heritage it carries, and reacts to its presence as if it were a foreign body disturbing its inner world.
Toxic heavy metals and toxic chemicals
Toxic heavy metals, even in minimal amounts, put a strain on brain tissue. In people with increased brain sensitivity, the presence of a foreign agent such as metal in the brain can be easily recognized by the soul. This is not a sign of weakness, but of exceptional sensitivity and ability to detect disturbances in the brain environment. You will learn more about toxic heavy metals from the article “Pests that make us sick – toxic heavy metals” .
Toxic heavy metals can also cause an imbalance in the electrical impulses of the brain, even if this imbalance is subtle. Some people's souls can sense this imbalance and experience it as a depressive state.
In certain cases, the soul can “understand” the origin of metals, sensing their appearance through pharmaceutical or other damage that occurred both in childhood and adulthood. The soul also perceives the historical cost of human life associated with the extraction of metals, such as mercury and others, mined even centuries ago. Metals, passed down through generations through various forms of exposure, can be felt as suffering and loss accumulated in the brain of modern man.
Toxic chemicals, including pesticides, solvents, synthetic fragrances, cleaning agents, and food additives, can also penetrate brain cells and be recognized by the sensitive soul. You can learn more about these pests in the article “Pests That Make Us Sick – Industrial Chemistry” .
It is not always the presence of heavy metals or chemicals that leads to depression. Often, emotional trauma occurs, which activates the brain's "traitors" and provokes a severe depressive state. The adrenaline rush that accompanies the trauma creates a highly acidic environment in the brain, accelerating the breakdown of metals. At the same time, significant amounts of nutrients and other brain resources are used to overcome stress. In a healthy brain, with all the available resources, toxic heavy metals can be neutralized, but when these reserves are depleted, acidity and deficiencies allow existing pollutants to manifest themselves, leading to depressive states.
Deficits
Even without the presence of emotional trauma that depletes brain reserves, a person can experience deficits in the brain. People suffering from depression often describe a sense of lack—as if a part of themselves is missing or that they are missing out on something important. This feeling of emptiness and dissatisfaction reflects the soul’s way of discovering that the brain lacks the critical reserves it needs to function optimally.
The soul senses a lack of key substances and trace elements, such as electrolytes, which are vital for the balance of the nervous system and the proper transmission of electrical signals in the brain. These deficiencies create a feeling of emptiness and exhaustion that manifests as part of the depressive state experience.
Get your mind back.
People suffering from depression, especially when it is mild and the will to fight is still present, often look for ways to relieve symptoms and improve their mood. They try to continue their daily lives, maintain themselves and experience joy by doing activities such as riding a bike, spending time with friends, visiting a psychologist, taking short breaks or taking time off from work. They listen to advice such as: “Change your routine, seek new experiences, go on vacation.” In fact, these actions are often an attempt to heal the soul, because it signals physical problems in the brain.
Once the potential physical causes of depression are identified—adrenaline buildup, exposure to toxins, foreign pathogens, and deficiencies—the approach to treatment can be different. Addressing these factors directly aids the process of restoring brain function and gradually restoring the sense of wholeness that has been lost.
For more serious and long-term forms of depression that can rob a person of the strength to fight and lead them to a sense of hopelessness, recovery begins with taking care of the physical needs of the brain. When specific actions are taken to reduce adrenal stress, clear toxins, and compensate for deficiencies, a person can reconnect with their soul, restore their sense of self, and regain their ability to fight depression.
