Barley Grass Juice Mojito

Мохито със сок от ечемичена трева

This delicious non-alcoholic drink is refreshing and pleasant to consume, while also providing valuable nutrients to the body. This version of mojito uses pure maple syrup instead of high-fructose corn syrup, sugar syrup, or other refined sweeteners. Mint and barley grass juice powder give it a rich green color and provide a wealth of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup mint leaves (loosely packed), plus more for garnish;
1/2 tsp barley grass juice powder;
2 tbsp pure maple syrup (or more to taste);
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice;
2 thin lime slices;
1 cup crushed ice;
1-2 cups sparkling water.

Instructions:

Fill a tall glass with mint, barley grass juice powder, maple syrup, lime juice, and lime slices. Muddle the mixture well until the mint releases its aromas.

Then, fill the glass with crushed ice and top with sparkling water. Stir gently and serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra mint leaves.

Serves 1 drink.
